About Word Runner
Word Runner is a free 3D spelling race. The floor is a grid of big, colourful letter tiles, and the word you need floats above your runner's head. Run to each letter in the right order and stop on it to lock it in; the letters light up one by one as you spell. A rival runner is spelling its own word at the same time, and the first to finish wins the round.
Step on the wrong tile and the game tells you which letter you need next. Every level brings a new word from a list of more than 200, starting with three letters (SUN, HAT, BEE) and growing to eight (ELEPHANT, TREASURE), and the 26 tiles are shuffled into a new layout every level. The rival gets sharper as you go, every fifth level is a bonus word worth double coins, and the arena changes colour with the setting every three levels. Lose the race and you can take a second chance once per level: the rival drops its last two letters and stands still while you catch up.
Wins pay coins, shared with every game on TinyJar Games. Spend them on real characters to run as (Skater, Sporty, Lifeguard, Ninja and Zombie), runner colours and upgrades: Speed to run faster between tiles, Head Start to make the rival wait at the start, and Coin Bonus for bigger rewards. How to play Word Runner
- Press Start and look at the word above your runner.
- Use the on-screen joystick to run to the first letter, then let go so your runner stops on it.
- Visit the rest of the letters in order to spell the word.
- Finish before the rival runner spells its word to win.

Tips
- A letter only counts when you stop on it, so release the joystick as soon as you reach the tile.
- Plan a short path: the next letter is often a few tiles away in a straight line.
- Head Start gives you a free lead, which matters more as the rival speeds up.
